Sergey Borisovich Tarasov

Born on 15 July, 1959, in Bishkek (Frunze), Kyrgyzstan.
In 1982 graduated from the Shipbuilding Institute in Leningrad majoring in Ship Building and Repairing. From 2000: student, Department of International Relations, St. Petersburg State University.
From 1981 to 1986: Department Secretary, Division Director, Oktyabrsky District Committee of the Komsomol.
From 1986 to 1989: Deputy Director, Lenexpo, Expocenter Exhibition Association, USSR Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
From 1989 to 1991: Department Director, Kompan Joint Venture.
From 1991 to 1992: General Director, TOO Taris.
From 1992 to 1995: Deputy General Director, AOZT UNIO.
From 1995 to 1996: General Director, TOO Taris. 
From 1997 to 1998: Chairman, St. Petersburg public organization Admiralteyskaya Perspektiva. 
From 1998 to 2002: Deputy, St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly, 2nd convocation, Legislative Assembly Chairman.
From 2002: Deputy, St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly, 3rd convocation.
Awards: Medals for Achievement in Public Order Maintenance and in Commemoration of the Tercentenary of St. Petersburg.
